Community Living Opportunities, Inc. (CLO) was founded in 1977 with a mission to make a meaningful difference for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.
We are a national leader in the creation and dissemination of enriching community-based service and support models. CLO provides a full spectrum of community-based supports across the lifespan of need for more than 500 individuals in the state of Kansas and serves several hundred more through non-profit partners using CLO's innovative and cost effective service models. Services include residential, behavioral and health, therapeutic, life planning, and educational support for adults, children and families. The goal of CLO’s services is to empower people to live as independently as possible regardless of their level of needed support.
Interested in an exciting and rewarding employment opportunity? CLO has positions as direct support and professional positions, as well as opportunities as family teaching couples. We are currently hiring for positions in Douglas County, Johnson County and Iola/Chanute.
The Neighborhood Network is an intentional and well-selected neighborhood utilizing innovative support models and technology to enrich and support a fulfilling life for residents within a typical neighborhood community.
There is a significant gap between the true cost of caring for the individuals CLO serves and the funding we receive. Your gifts make a dramatic, meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with special needs. Every gift, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated.
