Professional Family Model (PFM)

The Professional Family Model (PFM) providers, offer within their own home, teaching, care and support, to one to two persons with developmental disabilities. PFM families provide this support through a foster care/ independent contractual arrangement with CLO, and have the ability to include their family within their work. PFM families receive ongoing training and support from CLO’s professional team. Compensation ranges from $12,900 to $54,800 per year depending upon the level of support provided. (Additional tax benefits are possible.)

Do you want a gratifying life for yourself and your family?  If so, please give serious consideration to an exciting and rewarding opportunity at CLO.  Community Living Opportunities (CLO), a not-for-profit corporation, is seeking to expand the Professional Family Model in the Kansas area.
 
CLO is looking for individuals or couples who own or rent their own home to become PFM providers for people with developmental disabilities residing in the state of Kansas.  In the PFM home you and/or your family, are responsible for providing services to an individual in your home. Your primary responsibilities would be teaching skills and modeling behaviors necessary for success in the community and for providing a good quality of life for an individual.
 
We are looking for families residing in these specific counties: Johnson, Douglas, Allen, Sedgwick, Cowley, Butler, and Labette.  If you live near one of these counties we may be able to accommodate your request so please apply.  If you live in Missouri, we will be unable to move forward with this opportunity, as we an only provide services in Kansas at this time.
