James Noury likes pianos...Most of all, he likes the ones that are left for broken. Out of tune? No problem! Haven't been played for years? So what! A key is missing? Oh, well - that's really not the key to great music...the key is...somewhere else. James is a self-taught pianist - his music comes suddenly and from within. He found this old piano in Joplin, MO and immediately improvised the following piece. He dedicated it to CLO and called it: "Unbroken voices". See, James simply believes that every instrument has a beautiful voice hidden inside of it...even when others perceive it is broken...You just have to find and push the right key. Thank you, James for inspiring us with your music and for unbreaking beautiful voices every single day. It is a privilege to have a teacher like you at CLO!
